FRIEDRICH HARDRATH

In Town Kossuth on Wed. last August one of our old German pioneers, Mr. Friedrich Hardrath closed his tired eyes in the last sleep.
The deceased was born 15 Oct. 1813 and came to America in 1857, landing in New York on the 4th of July. He came to Manitowoc on 14 July and took over his Kossuth farm on 16 July where he has lived unbrokenly ever since. His son has operated the farm the last several years.
The deceased was twice married, both wives predeceasing him, and he is survived by one son and 3 daughters.
The funeral of Mr. Hardrath, who died of old age debility, took place Sat. afternoon.
