HERBERT GAUGER
(1899 - 1971)

Herbert W. Gauger, 72, of 1010 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in Kossuth National Cemetery.

Mr. Gauger was born July 3, 1899, at Milwaukee, son of the late August and Mary Sprick Gauger. He married Cora Zill June 20, 1923, at Sturgeon Bay. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co for 42 years until his retirement in 1965.

Survivors include his wife, a son, William H., of Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs. Bud (Carol) Hanson, of Green Bay and four grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and until noon Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church.
