Mrs. George E. Hardrath Sr., 74, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a three-weeks’ illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. T. F. Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be in Kossuth Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Hardrath Sr., the former Erna Boettger, was born Oct. 1, 1892, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Herman and Alvina Oestreich Boettger. She was married to George Hardrath Sr., Oct. 29, 1913, at Manitowoc. The couple farmed at Rt. 2. Manitowoc, until his retirement in 1950. Her husband preceded her in death in May, 1960.

She is survived by two sons, George, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and Elton, of Rockwood and eight grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the church until time of services.

KOSSUTH YOUNG PEOPLE WEDDED IN THIS CITY

Miss Erna Boettcher and George Hardrath, well known young people of the Town of Kossuth, were married in this city yesterday, the ceremony being performed at the parsonage of the German Lutheran Church, Rev. Machmiller officiating.

A dinner was served the bridal party at the home of Mrs. Rudolph Oestreich and later in the day, Mr. and Mrs. Hardrath departed for Neenah, enroute on their honeymoon.

They will reside at Kossuth where both have been prominent and popular.
