FREDERICK JOSEPH LA VOIE III

Frederick Joseph LaVoie III, 69, of1321 W. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Ronald Sieber, president of the Sheboygan branch of Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, will officiate with burial in Kossuth Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. LaVoie was born Oct. 14, 1906, at Loretto, Mich., son of the late Frederick Joseph and Anna Frehse LaVoi II. He lived in Norway, Mich., until 1932, when he moved to Green Bay, operating his own body repair shop moving to Manitowoc in 1959 where he worked at Manitowoc Engineering Co. until his retirement. He married Geraldine Witte Aug. 26, 1960, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death Oct. 9, 1972. In 1971 he moved to Sturgeon Bay, returning to Manitowoc in 1973. He married Bonnie Buhk Nov. 3, 1973. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.
Survivors include his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Grapentine, of Menasha and Michele, Sue Ann and Laura Lee, at home, six grandchildren, two uncles, John and Frank Frehse, and nieces and nephews. A sister, Anna, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 6 to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening and Wednesday until the time of service.
