Edward H. Miller, 70, former Stangelville resident and native of the Town of Gibson, died Thursday afternoon at the Manawa Convalescent Home, Waupaca County where he had been a resident for several years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc. Funeral Home, Two Rivers. The Rev. Carl Ipson, pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Miller was born September 26, 1887 in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Ernest and Sophie Kadow Miller. He married the former Mary Melichar at Manitowoc in 1927 after which the couple resided at Manitowoc Rapids for two years. They then moved to the homestead farm of the parents of Mrs. Miller at Stangelville. In 1929 the couple took over the operation of the farm, retiring in 1948 to Tisch Mills.

Surviving are his wife, a resident at Shady Lane Home at Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. John Baetke of Manitowoc and a twin sister, Mrs. Lilly Tess of Shady Lane Home; a brother, Charles of Two Rivers; four nephews and nine nieces.

Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of services.
