ALVINA ORTIZ

Mrs. H. Leo Ortiz, 67, of 1808 Western avenue, died today of a heart attack at the home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church, Rev. T.F. Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in the Kossuth cemetery.
Mrs. Ortiz, nee Alvina Augusta Boettger, was born at Newton in 1874. In 1907 she was married in New Mexico to Mr. Ortiz. He died in 1918. That same year she came to this city.
She is survived by two brothers, Herman of Two Rivers and Edwin of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Vinding of Selma, Calif., and Mrs. Erna Hardrath of Kossuth.
The body may be viewed at the parlors of the Reedsville Cooperative association in Reedsville from Wednesday noon until Thursday at 10:30 a.m. when it will be moved to the church here.
