Henry Herman Rahn, 68, who operated a repair shop at Sogge's Corners, north of the city, died of a heart attack at the Municipal hospital in Two Rivers last night.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the First German Evan. Lutheran church, the Rev. E.L. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery in Kossuth.
Mr. Rahn, who would have reached his 69th birthday Sunday, was born in Germany and 56 years ago came to this country, the family locating in Kossuth. In 1898 he married Miss Emma Stueck. He started a blacksmith shop at Shoto later moving to this city. After a year he moved north of the city, taking over a general repair shop at Sogge's Corners in the town of Two Rivers. In 1905 he was one of the organizers of the Manitowoc and Northern Telephone company.
Survivors are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred Buhk of Two Rivers, Mrs. Herbert Aschenbrenner of Francis Creek, Mrs. Gordon Zelle of Sheboygn, Elda, at home; son, Henry Jr., at home, sister, Mrs. Ida Pleuss of this city; and five grandchildren.
The body is at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and may be viewed there until Saturday at 10 a.m. when it will be moved to the church.
