DIES IN HOUSE SHE LIVED IN FOR FIFTY YEARS

In the house which for fifty years has been her home, death came to Mrs. Dorathea Marie Wolfert, pioneer resident of Manitowoc county at Kossuth on Friday night. Mrs. Wolfert, who was 81 years of age, had been failing for some time. Death was due to a complication of ailments and old age.

Mrs. Wolfert was born in Germany, February 7, 1841 and came to America in 1857 and to Manitowoc county two years later in 1859 after her marriage to Carl Wolfert, located at Kossuth where she has since resided.

She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Fred, Charles and Mrs. Alvina Toltzman, this city; Mrs. Martha Pfefferkorn and George Wolfert of Rapids and Mrs. Emma Kipping of Kossuth. Nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, one brother and one sister also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kipping at Kossuth with burial at the Kossuth cemetery. The Rev. A.R. Schreiber will officiate.
