Ruth Boland, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born July 20, 1912, in Brigham, Utah. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired federal government clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Hays; two daughters, Myrna Doppe and Phyllis Patton, and one son, Kent Harman, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Alice Lee of Las Vegas and Sybil Packer of Utah; two brothers, Loyal Hansen of Idaho and Ted Hansen of Florida; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue.
Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
