Mrs. Mathilda Birringer, 89, formerly of Route 2, Manitowoc, who resided with a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kubale of Green Bay the past 10 years, died Wednesday evening, March 11, at Bellis Hospital, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James Massart will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Birringer, the former Mathilda Nachtwey, was born March 9, 1892, at Pine Grove, Brown County, daughter of the late John and Mary Jaklin Nachtwey. She was married to Nicholas Birringer June 18, 1913, and the couple resided on a farm in the Town of Kossuth. Her husband died in March of 1961. She was a charter member of Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Anne Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Milton and Joanne Birringer of Manitowoc; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret and Joseph O'Leske of West Bend, Mrs. Grace Nook of Milwaukee and Frances and Robert Kubale of Green Bay; a brother, Wenzel Nachtwey of Green Bay; a sister, Sister Joachim, O.S.F., of Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mary Ann Schuh; two brothers, three sisters and a great grandchild preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home after 4 o'clock this Friday afternoon and Saturday until the time of service. A prayer service will be at 7:30 o'clock Friday by family, parish and Christian Mothers and Altar Society.
