(1919 - 1987)

Everett E. Bolle, 68, of 410 Forest Home Drive, Francis Creek, former State Representative of 2nd Assembly District, died Monday morning, September 7, 1987 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10:30 am at St. Anne Catholic church, Francis Creek. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by the Rev. Donald Schneider and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bolle was born August 29, 1919 in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Charles and Lydia Benishek Bolle. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers with the Class of 1937. He married Dorothy Feit August 19, 1941 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The couple resided in Francis Creek since 1945. He was former owner and operator of a General Merchandise Store, Tavern and Restaurant combination in Francis Creek for 7 1/2 years. Mr. Bolle was also employed at Manitowoc Equipment Works from 1951-1959. He was Supervisor of the Town of Kossuth for 8 years. Mr. Bolle was also a Real Estate Salesman, Auctioneer and Appraiser from 1964 until the present time. He was elected as States Legislator as the Representative in the 2nd Assembly District serving from 1961 to 1975. From 1975 to 1979 he served as Chief Clerk of Wisconsin State Assembly and Director of Legislative Services. Mr. Bolle was charter member and past president of Francis Creek Lions Club, member of Knights of Columbus Council 710 of Manitowoc, Francis Creek Sportsmens Club, past President of the Holy Name Society of St. Anne Church, past president of Federal Labor Union 23858, former Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 45 of Manitowoc, active in Manitowoc County Traffic Officers Little League Baseball, was a Baseball Coach, Manager and Umpire, member of the Old Timers Baseball Club and member of Manitowoc County Democratic Party.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Lyle of Manitowoc and Jeffrey of Orlando, Florida; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Nancy and Joe Schlegg of Luxemburg, Susan Grall of Appleton, Jane and Roger Reick of manitowoc, Debra and David Muench of Appleton, Terry of Naples, Florida and Ellen of Bellevue, Idaho; six brothers and six sisters-in-law, Carl of Reifs Mills, State Rep. Dale and Ethelyn Bolle of Reifs Mills, Francis and Dorothy Bolle of Francis Creek, Llewellyn and Marian Bolle of Francis Creek, Robert and Elaine Bolle of rural Manitowoc, Lovell Bolle of Fort Worth, Texas, Evelyn Bolle of Branch and Irene Fiet of Francis Creek; two sisters and three brothers-in-law, Barbara and Patrick Sieber of Fort Worth, Texas, Sally and Russell Walesh of Two Rivers and Ludwig Swetlik of Route 1, Whitelaw; his mother-in-law, Emma Feit of Francis Creek and nine grandchildren, Kevin, Brad and Tony Schiegg, Jordan and Samuel Grall, Meredith and Andy Rieck and Emmy and Lauren Muench. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Berlin, a sister, Virginia Swetlik and a brother-in-law, Victor Feit.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, from 4 pm to 9 pm this Tuesday and Wednesday until the hour of service. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm led by Father Schneider. Francis Creek Lions club will meet at the funeral home at 7 pm this evening.
