Joseph Brockhoff, 71 year old county resident who made his home in Manitowoc county during his entire life-time, died at the family home on Manitowoc Route 5 at 9 o'clock last night, death being due to complications.
Born in this county on December 8, 1859, he resided on farms in the county and 36 years ago he married Miss Ida Hessel.
His widow, two sons, Paul at Francis Creek and Eugene at home, two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Bolle, Antigo, and Mrs. George Schadburg Sr., Manitowoc, and eight grandchildren survive him.
He was a member of the Catholic Knights.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 8:30 o'clock and from the St. Ann's church at Francis Creek at 9 o'clock Monday morning, Father Schiller officiating.
