Joseph Braun, 72, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc where he had been removed the day before after sustaining a stroke at the farm.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Braun was born Aug. 8, 1892 in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Jacob and Theresa Meyer Braun. He operated the homestead farm and never married.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles Freimuth of Kellnersville and nieces and nephews. A sister, Mrs. Albert Kortens, preceded him in death and a brother died in infancy.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
