ANNE M. BRAZZALE

Anne Marie Brazzale, age 80, a former Rockwood resident, and currently a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, October 21, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, following a courageous battle with cancer.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 1997, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Rev. Ted Hendricks will officiate.
Anne Marie was born July 26, 1917, in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Godfrey and Margaret Pankratz Fetzer. She was educated at St. Michael Grade School and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1934. In 1937, she graduated from the Manitowoc County Normal and has attended UW Oshkosh, Holy Family College and Silver Lake College. She taught school for 26 years, including 10 years at Hickory Grove School and Sunny Slope School and 16 years at St. Anne Grade School, Francis Creek. She married Oreste D. (Rusty) Brazzale on June 1, 1946, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Rusty preceded her in death January 30, 1985. She was a 50 year member of St. Anne Catholic Church, the Christian Mother's Altar Society, and was active on the Community Outreach Committee, Catholic Women's Club, Manitowoc, Francis Creek-Rockwood Senior Citizens, Rockwood Homemakers Club. Ann Marie enjoyed volunteering and working with her friends at the St. Vincent de Paul Society Store, Manitowoc. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, baking and sports as an avid Brewers Fan.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Carol Brazzale, Sheboygan, Stephen and Jean Brazzale, Stevens Pint, Ned and Dawn Brazzale, Conrad and Mary Brazzale, all of Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Clare and Stan Zimmerman, Novi, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Kelley, Manitowoc. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and William Fetzer; and one sister, Lorraine Fetzer.
The Brazzale Family will receive relatives and friends at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek, from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
Memorials to St. Anne Parish, Roncalli High School or the Oncology Unit of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center would be appreciated.
