Rose Ewen, 84, of Francis Creek, died Monday evening, September 15, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James Massart will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Miss Ewen was born June 7, 1896, at Francis Creek, daughter of the late John and Mary Kerscher Ewen. In her early years she was a clerk at the Hessel-Ewen General Store in Francis Creek and later was employed at Milwaukee. She was a present member of St. Anne choir and had been a member for many years. She was a member of Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Anne Church and Francis Creek-Rockwood Senior Citizens and a 50 year member of Catholic Knights Branch 86 of Francis Creek.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, William and Clara Ewen of Francis Creek, two nieces and five nephews. A brother, Edwin, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service. A prayer service will be 8:15 p.m. Wednesday by Father Massart, Christian Mothers and Altar Society and Catholic Knights.
