Joseph Goedert, 68, retired farmer, died Friday afternoon at his home in the town of Kossuth, Rt. 2, Manitowoc, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek, the Rev. Joseph A. Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born Dec. 29, 1884, in Kossuth, Goedert, who never married, operated a farm in Branch from 1911 to 1940 when he retired and made his home with a sister, Miss Margaret Goedert. She and six nephews survive.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
