Mrs. John Hartman, 67, of 1520 Manila St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient the past three weeks.
She was born Anna Holschbach Aug. 29, 1892, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Alois and Catherine Weisner Holschbach. She was married to John Hartman Nov. 25, 1914, at Manitowoc. After their marriage the couple moved to the Town of Newton, returning to Manitowoc in 1958. Her husband died in 1938. She was a member of the St. Theresa Society of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Surviving are six sons, Francis, Clarence and Anthony of Manitowoc, Alois of Branch and Leo of Rt. 1, Newton, and Staff Sgt. Norbert of Fort Carson, Colo.; five brothers, Edmund, Ernst, Paul, Peter, and Robert Holschbach of Manitowoc; three sisters, Sister M. Harriet of Holy Family Hospital and Mrs. Michael Mohr and Mrs. Herbert Heinzen of Manitowoc; and 26 grandchildren. A son, John, preceded her in death in 1957.
Funeral arrangements will be announced Wednesday by Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services for Mrs. John Hartman, 87, of 1520 Manila St., Manitowoc, who died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, were at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry Letz officiating as celebrant at the solemn requiem Mass. Deacon was the Rev. Allan Wah with the Rev. Adam Markunas serving as sub-deacon. The Rev. John Haen officiated at the graveside rites at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Pallbearers, sons of Mrs. Hartman were, Francis, Aloyis, Clarence, Anthony, Leo and Norbert.
