Mrs. George A. Hassemer Sr., 64, of 2732 13th St., Two Rivers, died Thursday morning at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, of a heart attack. She had been hospitalized for two weeks.

Funeral plans are incomplete and will be announced Friday.

She was born Emma Korzinek, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Korzinek, in Carlton, Kewaunee County, in 1890 and after her marriage to George Hassemer Sr., they located on a farm in the town. In 1942 they moved to Two Rivers.

Survivors are the husband; four sons, George Jr., and Harvey of Two Rivers, Louis of Wayside and William of Francis Creek; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred Lemberger of Port Washington, Mrs. Stanley Gretz of Carlton, Mrs. John Carbon of Branch and Mrs. Donald Rieck of Two Rivers; two brothers, Frank of Racine and Walter of Manitowoc; and 31 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. George Hassemer, 64, of 2732 13th St., Two Rivers, who died Thursday morning at the Holy Family Hospital at Manitowoc, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two River, the Rev. Edward Wagner officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery at Francis Creek.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Sunday.
