Mrs. John Haws, 82, of Francis Creek, died Saturday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Raphael Birringer, a nephew, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Haws, nee Elizabeth Birringer, was born Oct. 30, 1890, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Orth Birringer. She was married to John Haws Aug. 8, 1910, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Her husband preceded her in death Feb. 17, 1962. She was a charter member of the Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Anne Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Anton (Frances) Novak, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward (Eleanore) Fictum, of Denmark and Mrs. John (Loretta) Heerey, of Milwaukee; two brothers, Edward, of Rt. 1, Cato, and Frank, of Frisco City, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grand-children. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a prayer service will be held at 8 o'clock by the Rev. John Haen and the Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Anne Catholic Church.
