Mrs. Frank Haws, 87, of 924 North Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday noon after a lingering illness.
Born March 18, 1865, in the Town of Two Rivers, the former Anna Bruder was married to Mr. Haws in 1885 and the couple moved to a farm in Kossuth. Mr. Haws died 19 years ago.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Carroll of New York City, Mrs. William Kleckner of Manitowoc, with whom she had made her home the past 11 years, and Mrs. Edward Koch of Two Rivers; three sons, John of Francis Creek, Edward of Deerfield, Ill., and Lawrence of Whitelaw; 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Mrs. Haws was a member of the St. Ann Society of St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be arranged by the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home of Manitowoc.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Frank Haws, 87 (photo), of 924 North Eighth St., Manitowoc, who died Wednesday will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 10 o'clock at Holy Innocents church. Burial will be in the Francis Creek Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday by St. Anne Society of Francis Creek.
