KOSSUTH MAN DIES THURSDAY
Frank Haws Will Be Buried Monday Morning
Frank Haws, 75, pioneer resident of the Town of Kossuth, died Thursday afternoon at the Holy Family Hospital here. The deceased who with his wife was living a retired life in the village of Francis Creek, was brought to the hospital here last Sunday. He had been in failing health for several weeks.
Mr. Haws was born in the town of Two Rivers in 1858 and grew to manhood there, taking up farming. He was married in 1885 to Miss Anna Bruder and they settled on a farm in the town of Kossuth where they continued to reside until four years ago when they moved to the village of Francis Creek.
Survivors are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. John Carroll of Brooklyn, N. Y., Mrs. Edward Koch of Two Rivers, and Mrs. William Klackner of this city, and three sons, Edward of Deerfield, Ill., and John and Lawrence of Francis Creek. A brother John of Two Rivers, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Goessl of Gibson and Mrs. James O'Brien of Alpena, Mich., and 15 grandchildren also survive.
The deceased was a member of the Holy Name society of Francis Creek.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the St. Anne's church at Francis Creek. The remains may be viewed from Saturday noon until Monday morning at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, and the body will leave the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Monday for Francis Creek.
