FARMER DIES SUNDAY NIGHT
Walter J. Herrmann Passes At Home On Route 5
Walter J. Herrmann, 43, Kossuth farmer, died Sunday night at the home on Route 5 after only a two day illness. He was taken ill with a stroke Friday.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. and at 10 o'clock from the St. Ann Catholic church, Francis Creek. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
The deceased was born on the homestead farm, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Herrmann, June 5, 1892. He married Frances Muench in 1915. They took up their residence on a farm.
Widow Survives
Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Gladys and Marie; a son Lester, all at home; mother, Mrs. Christian Herrmann, Kossuth; and a brother, Adam, Kossuth. The father of the deceased died three months ago. Mr. Herrmann was a member of the Catholic Knights and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
The body was removed to the home this afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral home.
