Victor V. Kocian, age 79, of 125A Packer Drive, Francis Creek, died Monday, January 10, 1994, at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. The Rev. John White will officiate.
Mr. Kocian was born December 14, 1914, in the town of Cooperstown, a son of the late Matt and Katherine Tisler Kocian. Mr. Kocian worked for the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1976.
Survivors include one son, Gary Kocian, Manitowoc; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane Jalowiec, Francis Creek, Patricia and Robert Long, Manitowoc, Donna Jean and William Hill, Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Clarence and Agnes Kocian, Kellnersville, Edward Kocian, Francis Creek, George and June Kocian, Whitelaw, Matt and Florence Kocian, Francis Creek; a special friend, John Foos, Francis Creek; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Kocian; two sisters, Eleanor Wachal, Molly Cherney, one sister-in-law, Fern Kocian; one brother-in-law, Quirin Wachal; one son-in-law, John Jalowiec; one daughter-in-law, Janice Kocian; two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
