Harvey Kimmes, 73, of Francis Creek, died Saturday in Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, and 11 a.m. in St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James Massart will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Kimmes was born May 12, 1904, in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late Matt and Ida Craite Kimmes. He married Esther Stiefvater Oct. 24, 1936, in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He engaged in farming in the Town of Kossuth and was self employed as a floor sander. He also was a maintenance man for St. Anne Church and School until 1969 and moved to the Village of Francis Creek in 1977. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters, Francis Creek Lions Club and Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard H. of Elizabeth Town, Ky., John C. of Francis Creek and Harvey P. of Marquette, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Kathleen) Endries of Ipe, Mrs. Willard (Eileen) Belitz of Cleveland and Mrs. Jeffrey (Lenore) Goodchild of Virginia Beach, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Francis Engelbrecht of Manitowoc, Mrs. Genevieve Kasten of Sheboygan Fall, Mrs. Louis (Loretta) Massman of Two Creeks and Mrs. Irene LePine of Two Rivers and 14 grandchildren. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call in Lambert Funeral Home after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a prayer service will be at 8 o'clock.
