Peter Kleman, 90, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since April 29.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Kleman was born Nov. 5, 1882, at Chilton, son of the late Peter and Sophia Lindauer Kleman. He married Sophie Mailand Oct. 25, 1910, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Silver Lake. The couple farmed in the Town of Kossuth until retirement in 1950. Mr. Kleman also did carpenter work. He was the oldest member of St. Anne Church and the Holy Name Society of the church. The couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in 1960. Mrs. Kleman preceded him in death June 9, 1970.

Survivors include a son, Robert, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, three daughters, Mrs. George (Lucille) Gosz, of Rockwood, Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Brockhoff, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Reinhart (Elaine) Kubsch, of Rt. 1, Kewaunee; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday until the time of service Saturday. Wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday by Father Haen and the Holy Name Society.
