Miss Josephine Koehly, 83, former Rockwood resident, died Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness. For the past three years she had resided at St. Mary Home for the Aged at Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 8 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Miss Koehly was born Jan. 2, 1870, in Switzerland and came to the United States in 1923, settling at Rockwood. She made her home with a brother, Joseph, and moved to Manitowoc to reside following his death.

There are no immediate survivors.

Miss Koehly was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Ann Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
