MRS. KORNELY DEATH MONDAY
Dies At Home of Daughter On Two Rivers Route
Mrs. Mary Kornely, 82, widow of the late Peter Kornely, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Grimm, Two Rivers Route 1. The deceased had been active up to a year ago.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the Grimm home and at 10 o'clock from St. Ann's Catholic Church at Francis Creek, with interment in the cemetery there.
The maiden name of the deceased was Miss Mary Hessel and she was born in the town of Kossuth. After growing to womanhood, she was married at Francis Creek to Peter Kornely and they made their home on a farm in the township. Mr. Kornely passed away 27 years ago.
Five daughters, Mrs. Martha Grimm, Mrs. Math Petri, Mrs. Urban Wachtel, all of Two Rivers, Mrs. William Buehler, and Mrs. Frank J. Kerscher, Manitowoc, two sons, Peter of Appleton and Charles of Kossuth, a brother, Charles Hessel, of California, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Landgraf, St. Paul, and Mrs. Tressie Benish of Eau Claire, Wis., survive. There are 28 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The remains were removed to the Grimm Home on Two Rivers Route 1 this afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral home in Manitowoc where they may be viewed up to the time of the funeral.
