Joseph J. Krejcarek, 92, Village of Francis Creek, (Route 2, Manitowoc) died late Tuesday afternoon, July 21, 1987 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10 am Friday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10:30 am at St. Anne Catholic church, Francis Creek. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Rev. Donald Schneider with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Military Graveside Services will be held by Drews Bleser American Legion Post Number 88 of Manitowoc.

Mr. Krejcarek was born April 4, 1895, in the Town of Cooperstown, son of the late Fred and Rose Zaruba Krejcarek. He married the former Clara Cherney on June 10, 1919 at St. Joseph Catholic church, Kellnersville. The couple farmed in the Reif Mills area until 1942 when they moved to their present home in Francis Creek. Mr. Krejcarek was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding, retiring in 1960. He served in the Army during World War I. Mr. Krejcarek was a member of Drews Blser Post Number 88 of Manitowoc, past treasurer of Palm Grove School, former sexton of St. Anne's Cemetery and past member of the Holy Name Society. The couple had the honor of celebrating their 68th Wedding Anniversary on June 10, 1987.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; a son and a daughter-in-law, Joseph and Esther Krejcarek of Janesville, Wisconsin; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Olive and Leonard Skarda of route 1, Whitelaw, Mrs. Helen Karbon of Francis Creek, Betty Jane and Earl Pepperkorn of Milwaukee and Joyce Karbon of the State of New Jersey; a brother and a sister-in-law, Myles and Mildred Krejcarek of rural Manitowoc; 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Melvin Karbon, two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, from 6 pm to 9 pm Thursday and Friday until the hour of service. Prayer service will be held at 8 pm led by Father Schneider.
