Death Visited the Hessel family twice on Thursday, the demise of Mrs. Albert Krumdick of Rockwood occurring in the hospital here and word having been received yesterday of the death at Los Angeles, California, of her brother, Anton Hessel, a former resident of the county, also on Thursday at almost the same hour at which Mrs. Krumdick died. The funeral of Mr. Hessel was held at Los Angeles this morning.

Born in the county seventy-four years ago, Mr. Hessel as a young man moved to Eau Claire where he engaged in the saloon business. Later he disposed of this business and took up his home at Los Angeles where he has remained for a number of years. He suffered a stroke some time ago and members of the family were aware that his condition was critical.
