Mrs. Joseph L. Leggio, 80, Rockwood, died Sunday morning at St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc, where she had been a resident for three months.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John M. Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Leggio, nee Carmela Tarmantana, was born Oct. 3, 1887, at Messiana, Sicily, daughter of the late Pasquali and Maria Natoli Tarmantana. She was married to Mr. Leggio April 23, 1910, at Messiana and they came to United States in 1913, settling in Rockwood. He preceded her in death June 13, 1965.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Romy (Antoinette) Gosz of Route 1, Whitelaw, Mrs. Wenzel (Marie) Chvala of Rt. 1, Maribel and Mrs. Randolph (Ana) Bleser of Manitowoc; a son, Theodore of Milwaukee; a brother, Joseph, in Sicily; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Giamo of Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A daughter, a brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this Monday evening by friends and members of the parish.

She was the former Carmela Tarmantana, born October 3, 1887 at Messiana, Sicily. She married Mr. Leggio April 23, 1910 at Messiana and they came to the United States in 1913, settling at Rockwood. He preceded her in death June 13, 1965.
