Mrs. Emil J. Lorenz, 62, of Kossuth, died Wednesday afternoon at the farm home, following a two weeks illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 'clock at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Nora (sic) Hickey in Maple Grove in 1889 and in 1911 was married at Brillion to Mr. Lorenz. They lived in Two Rivers two years and then moved to the homestead farm in Kossuth.
Survivors are the husband; six daughters, Mrs. Lester Reinke of Mishicot, Mrs. Joseph Herrmann of Francis Creek, Mrs. Roland Chaloupka of Rockwood and Marjorie, Dorothy Mae and Priscilla at home; four sons, Raymond of Los Angeles, Elmer at home, Kenneth of Francis Creek and Wayne, a student at the University of Wisconsin; two brothers, John of North Canton, Ohio, and James of Milwaukee; sister, Mrs. Frank Miller of Minocque, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Thursday where the Christian Mothers of St. Ann congregation will recite the rosary at 8:15 p.m. Friday.
