DONALD A. LUCKOW
(1937 - 1992)

Donald A. Luckow, age 54, of 313 S. Packer Dr., Francis Creek, died unexpectedly Sunday morning May 10, 1992 at home.

Dear Lord You took our loving husband, father and grandfather away so unexpectedly to Your kingdom in heaven without his being able to tell him goodbye. He will be remembered dearly for his willingness to always lend a helping hand and the love he showed in his own special way. He will be dearly missed. Please give us the strength to carry on and live one day at a time. We love you.

He was born on August 9, 1937 in Manitowoc, son of the late Elmer and Evelyn Rauber Luckow. He graduated in 1955 from Lincoln High School and attended the University of Wisconsin in 1956. He was married at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, to JoAnn Tuma on October 29, 1960. He was employed at Kelvinator Commercial Products from 1956-1991. He recently became a licensed certified property appraiser. He was a member and past officer of St. Anne Parish, and was presently serving as a minister of hospitality. He was currently a trustee for the village of Francis Creek and also village assessor for the village of Francis Creek and the village of Kellnersville. He was an active member and officer of the Francis Creek Sportsmans Club. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends, woodcrafting and reading.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane an Dan Yindra of Darboy, Sandra and Dan Finnel of Francis Creek, Kathryn of Wauwatosa and her fiancé Dan Reed, Chippewa Falls; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy Luckow of Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Nicole, Samantha, and Zachary Yindra, and Keelie and Ryan Finnel, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Revs. James Massart and Rev. Raymond Schrimpf will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday morning until we leave for the church at 10:30 a.m.

He loved and enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He will be missed very much by all.
