THOMAS MEYER
(1877 - 1949)

Thomas Meyer, 72, of Franklin, died Sunday at the Holy Family hospital following a three months illness.

Mr. Meyer was born in Kossuth in 1877. In 1906 he married the former Rose Leist who died in 1911. Prior to taking up residence with his son Leonard of route 2, Cato, eight years ago Mr. Meyer was a farmer and tavern operator.

Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Husar funeral home in Kellnersville and at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic church in Maple Grove. Burial will be in the St. Ann cemetery at Francis Creek.

Survivors are two sons, Leonard and Clarence of route 5 Manitowoc; three brothers, Henry of Manitowoc, John of Kossuth and Walter of Manitowoc Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Peter Massman of Kossuth, Mrs. Oscar Terens of Mishicot and Mrs. William Ziebell of Manitowoc; 12 grand children and one great grandchild.

The body may viewed at the funeral home from 7 p.m. tonight until the time of services. The rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
