Margaret C. Muench, age 88, of 115 Circle Drive, Manitowoc, Village of Francis Creek, died on Saturday afternoon, April 5, 2008, at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Margaret was born on July 25, 1919, in Francis Creek, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Hessel) Muench. She was employed at Holy Family Hospital in laundry care. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne Altar Society and the Catholic Knights Branch 86 of Francis Creek.
Survivors include one daughter: Rozanne Muench, Francis Creek; two sisters: Bernice Hassemer, Francis Creek, and Bernette Wachholz, Manitowoc; three nieces: Joy Lynn (Myron) Mleziva, Francis Creek; Andrea (Gerald) Morse, Janesville; and Dr. Pamela Wachholz (Bob Neste), Hemet, Calif.; and one nephew: Paul (Sue) Wachholz Jr., Green Bay. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Gerald Muench; two brothers-in-law: Paul Wachholz Sr. and William Hassemer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Paul Paider will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial to follow at the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
