CLIFFORD MULLINS
(1911 - 1973)
Clifford (Cliff) Mullins, 62, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening as the result of a heart attack at the Shoto Conservation Club.
Funeral services will be at 10 am Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and at 10:30 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reifs Mills. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery, Francis Creek.
Mr. Mullins was born Jan. 22, 1911 in the Town of Maple Grove, son of the late John and Sophia Kings Mullins. He married Mercedes Behrendt Nov. 24, 1937 at St. James Catholic church, Menominee, Mich. the couple lived at Osman until 1949, moving to Francis Creek. He was employed many years at George Rutherford Heating Inc., and the former E.P. Knaur Heating and for two and a half years at the Kewaunee Nuclear Plant, retiring in January of 1973.
Mr. Mullins was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, 30 year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local No. 298 of Green Bay and a member of the Oldtimers Baseball players, for m any years playing on the Osman and Point Creek baseball teams. He was also active in the Manitowoc Traffic Officers Little League baseball program.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Paul of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Tisler of Brillion and Debra, at home; three brothers, John, Edwin and Justin of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. E.J. (Elizabeth) Kelley, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Emil (Laura) Lutzke of St. Nazianz and Miss Agatha of Whitelaw; and two grandchildren, Pam and Todd Tisler. A brother, Thomas, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 pm Friday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm.
