Edwin J. Peroutka, 74, of 6609 Polifka Road, Whitelaw, died late Friday evening, March 15, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Donald Schneider with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Peroutka was born September 14, 1910, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Joseph and Anna Sladky Peroutka. He married the former Sophie Komorowski on May 22, 1940, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The couple operated the Peroutka Homestead farm and Mr. Peroutka was also employed at Mirro Company for many years, retiring in 1975.

Survivors include his wife, Sophie; a son and a daughter-in-law, Joseph and Janet Peroutka of 6507 Polifka Road, Whitelaw; two daughters and sons-in-law, Grace and Donald R. Theroux of Green Bay and Marie and Robert Schultz of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Ella Popelars of Francis Creek and 11 grandchildren also survived.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, from 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Sunday afternoon and on Monday until the hour of service. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening led by Rev. Donald Schneider.
