Helen A. Dorner, age 79, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died Monday evening, March 3, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, 1997, at Holy Innocents Catholic church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. David Zimmerman with burial at St. Anne Cemetery, Francis Creek.
She was born June 27, 1917, in the town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Siebert Neuser. On November 8, 1951, she married Jacob Dorner at Menominee, Mich. The couple owned and operated Dorner's Grocery Store in Two Rivers for several years. Jacob preceded her in death on July 4, 1972.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Richmond, Greendale, Wis.; six grandchildren, Jeff (LeeAnn) Richmond, Visalia, Calif., Bruce (Barb) Richmond, Franklin, Wis., Jim (Marianne) Richmond, White Bear Lake, Minn., Tim (Beth) Richmond, Germantown, Amy (Tom) Lake, Gurnee, Ill., Pat (Chris) Richmond, Milwaukee; eight great-grandchildren, Kelly, Marcus, Jacob, Alec, Matthew, Madalyn, Jack and Kyle; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Oscar Neuser, Green Bay, Charles and Wylma Neuser, Herman and Blanche Neuser, Robert Neuser, all of Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Wallace Fictum, Manitowoc; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Innocents Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
