Mrs. George Popp, 45, of Manitowoc route 2, died early today at the Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Popp, nee Rose Schamberger, was born April 18, 1898 at Two Rivers. Twenty-four years ago she was married to George Popp, who survives with five children and four grandchildren.
The daughters are Mrs. Robert Brandl of Manitowoc, Mrs. Joseph Sleger of Manitowoc route 5 and Miss Marion at home, two sons, Arnold with the armed forces in England and Raymond at home.
The body is lying in state at the Pfeffer funeral home from tonight until the time of the funeral Friday. The hour will be announced tomorrow.
