AGNES NOVAK

Mrs. Joseph Novak, 77, former Manitowoc and Kossuth resident, died Thursday afternoon at the home, 1349 East Pinedale Court, Shorewood, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9:30 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Agnes Shimek in Czechoslovakia in 1876 and at the age of 20 years came to Manitowoc County. In 1896, she was married to Joseph Novak and they located on a farm in Kossuth. Retiring 25 years ago, they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Novak died last March.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Querin Wilda and Mrs. Walter Baugniet of Whitefish Bay; son, William of Shorewood; sister, Mrs. Thekla Podohla of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Friday.
