FLORENCE ZIGMUNT

Florence "Ziggy" Zigmunt, age 89, a life long resident of Francis Creek, died Monday, August 5, 2013, at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.
Florence was born on April 5, 1924 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Albert and Lena (Koch) Rezba. On October 16, 1941 she married Melvin Zigmunt at St. Anne Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1991. Florence worked at Rummele's Jewelry Store for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne Altar Society and the VFW Kubale-O'Connell Post #6179 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center and a care giver in need. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing cards and was a hot air balloon enthusiast. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her five children: Dennis (Marcia) Zigmunt, CA; Kay (Ralph) Hagenow, Francis Creek; Pat (Bonnie) Zigmunt, Francis Creek; Ted (Lynn) Zigmunt, Francis Creek; Chris (Lynn) Zigmunt, Francis Creek; 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Barbara Siebold, IL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Melvin; one son: Mark Zigmunt; one brother: Robert Rezba; two sisters: Vi Rozum and Lu Van Gaston; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2013, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. The Rev. John Becker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
