YOUNG COUNTY RESIDENT DIES AT MAPLE CREST
An illness which had its inception with a sunstroke three years ago and which became more acute in later years to force his confinement to Maple Crest at Whitelaw for the past four months at 1:15 o'clock this afternoon claimed the life of Paul Rank, 21 year old town of Kossuth resident.
The young man was born in the town of Kossuth on June 30, 1910 and was a life-long resident of that community. He attended the graded schools of the township and graduated from the Rockwood high school four years ago. Since then and up until the time he entered the sanatorium at Whitelaw, he made his home with his widowed mother, Mrs. Peter Rank, at Kossuth.
Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers, Edwin at home, and Frank at 925 N. Fifteenth street, Manitowoc; and two sisters, Mrs. Louis Hessel, Francis Creek, and Miss Emily at home.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 9 o'clock and from St. Ann's church at Francis Creek at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. The Holy Name Society of which he was a member, will attend services.
Interment will take place at the church cemetery at Francis Creek.
