Wilbur W. Reif, age 82, of 3424A Custer St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon, January 27, 1995, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 1995, at Pfeffer Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial to follow at St. Anne's Catholic Church Cemetery, Francis Creek.
He was born August 12, 1912, in the town of Kossuth, son of the late Mathias and Rose Hutterer Reif. He married the former Elma Reinholz on October 14, 1933, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. She preceded him in death on February 27, 1987. Mr. Reif was employed with Manitowoc Engineering Company for 36 years until his retirement in 1976. He was also a member of Local Machinist 516.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Fritz and Lori Reif, Francis Creek, Richard and Audrey Reif, Mishicot; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Pat Beaupre, Sherry and Ray Kiel, Sandy and Stewart Hollen, all of Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Jane Reif, Robert and Margie Reif, all of Francis Creek; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Miss Marie Reif, Manitowoc, Helen and Irvin John, Green Bay, Rosella Doyle, Manitowoc, Florence Kubsch, Two Rivers, Arlette Rozanski, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald, one daughter, Jeanie, one brother, Clarence, one sister, Laura Shaw, two grandchildren, Steve and Joseph Reif, one son-in-law, Jack Beaupre.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, Monday evening, from 4-8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Alan Boeldt.
