Frank Reif, 82, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, retired farmer, died Thursday evening at the farm home following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Kossuth in 1871 and in 1894 married Miss Frances Hutterer. They located on the Kossuth homestead farm. He retired six years ago. Mrs. Reif died in 1950.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Leon Taylor, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, Mrs. Herman Meyer of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Mrs. Herbert Kohlmeyer of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, Mrs. Oscar Zunker of Rt. 1, Cato, Mrs. Clarence Sutter of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Anton Mott of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, six sons, Ervin, Frank and LeRoy of Rt. 1, Mishicot, Leo of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Elmer of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and Ray of Milwaukee; 34 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
