Mrs. Frank Reif, 73, route 2, Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the homestead farm, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic church at Francis Creek with the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial in the church cemetery will follow.
Mrs. Reif was born in 1877 at Kossuth and has made her home in Manitowoc county all her life. In 1897, she married Frank Reif and moved to their farm at route 2, Manitowoc. Her maiden name was Frances Hutterer. She was a member of the St. Ann Altar society.
Her survivors include her husband; six daughters, Miss Doris Reif and Mrs. Herman Meyer of Manitowoc, Mrs. Anton Mott of Two Rivers, Mrs. Oscar Zunker of Cato, Mrs. Herbert Kohlmeier of route 3, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Leon Taylor of route 5, Manitowoc; six sons, Leroy, Frank and Ervin, all of Mishicot, Raymond of Milwaukee, Elmer of route 2, Two Rivers, and Leo of route 2, Manitowoc; a brother, Henry Hutterer of Markesan; and five sisters, Mrs. Matt Reif of route 2, Manitowoc, Mrs. Barbara Kramer, of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Ignatz Kunz, Mrs. George Heibel, and Mrs. Albert Bromucher, all of Dorchester, Wis.
The body will be removed from the Pfeffer Funeral home in Manitowoc Thursday evening to lie in state at the homestead until the time of the services Saturday.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday.
