Mr. Robert H. Reif Sr., age 83, formerly of 6515 Quarter Road, Whitelaw, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010.
Bob was born on Oct. 15, 1926, in Manitowoc, son of the late Mathias and Rose (Hutterer) Reif. He graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1945. Bob married the former LaVerne Rossi at St. Anne Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on June 21, 2010. Bob was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Manitowoc Engineering and Boilermaker Local No. 443 and International Aerospace and Machinist Local No. 516.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Ronald (Debra) Reif, rural Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Jason Reif, Manitowoc; Pamela (David) Lane, Manitowoc; Tracy (Todd Hymes), Reif Hymes, Two Rivers; Travis Reif, Two Rivers; Kristopher Reif, Two Rivers; seven great grandchildren: Sydney, Ethan, Cheyenne, Savanna, Shawn, Tyler, Carter; one brother, Edwin Reif, Francis Creek; two sisters, Florence Kubsch, Two Rivers, and Arlette Rozanski, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife: LaVerne Reif; one son: Robert Reif Jr., one grandson: Cody Reif; two brothers; five sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. The Rev. Paul Paider will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
