Martha M. Rief (sic), age 83, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, died Sunday, March 13, 1994, at the Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am. Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Theodore Hendricks with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She was born August 10, 1910, in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late John and Theresa Augustine Seidl. She married Clarence Rief June 6, 1929, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. He preceded her in death in February of 1935. She attended Manitowoc County Normal School and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, John (Jack) Rief, Kiel, Clarence and Barbara Rief, West Des Moines, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Ted (Anna) Schadeberg, Sister Gervase Seidl, Mrs. Ben (Mary) Kohlmeyer, Mrs. George (Frances) Schiesl, all of Manitowoc, nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ida Seidl, a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Rief, and two grandchildren, Theresa and Karen.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 1994, and Wednesday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church 3, Francis Creek, from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. Theodore Hendricks.

COUNTY COUPLE WED TODAY

A wedding solemnized at Kellnersville this morning united Miss Martha Seidl daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Seidl of Cato in marriage to Clarence Reif, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Reif, Manitowoc Route six.

KELLNERSVILLE SISTERS ARE BRIDES THURSDAY

A double wedding ceremony in which two sisters were given in marriage was performed at the Kellnersville Catholic church Thursday. The ceremony was read by the Rev. Francis Kolar, who is filling the vacancy of the Rev. Rous who left on a several month's sojourn to Europe.

Miss Frances Seidl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Seidl of Cato was united in marriage to George Chiesl, of Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chiesl of Whitelaw. The couple was attended by the Misses Ida Chiesl and Isabel Seidl. The groomsmen were Edward Chiesl and Joseph Chiesl. Little Lorraine Kohlmeier was the flower girl and Reuben Cheisl was the ringbearer.

Miss Martha Seidl became the bride of Clarence Reif, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Reif, Route six. Their attendants were the Misses Laura Reif and Anna Seidl and Frank Augustine and John Hutterer. Mrs. Reif was a rural school teacher previous to her marriage.

A dinner and supper was served at the home of the bride's parents with covers laid for seventy-five guests.
