Reynold (Red) Redstrom, 63, of Route 1, Whitelaw, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, May 9, at the family residence.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James Masart and the Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Redstrom was born Jan. 22, 1918, at Escanaba, Mich., son of the late John and Christina Hade Redstrom. He married Margaret (Dolly) Brassick Oct. 23, 1937, at Gladstone, Mich. The couple moved to their present home in the Town of Kossuth in 1965. he had been employed with Mirro Corporation of Manitowoc, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Francis Creek Sportsman's Club and a former member of Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society at Gladstone, Mich.
Survivors include his wife, Dolly, a son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Judy Redstrom of Gurnee, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Bruce Wiegand of Route 1, Whitelaw; a brother Rinaldo of Holdrege, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Regina LaCombe of Tampa, Fla., and five grandchildren, Chris and Connie Redstrom, Mrs. Cindy Anthony and Craig and Ryan Wiegand. Five brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until the time of service. A prayer service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday by Father Massart.
