(1835 - 1885)
Yesterday as Mr. and Mrs. Schweder of Kossuth were coming into the city, when near the Fred Seeger's place, the tongue of the wagon broke and Mrs. Schweder fell forward into the whiffle tree and her husband falling onto her. It was at once evident she was seriously hurt and she was brought to the city where Dr. Frazer attended her but in spite of all efforts, she died during the night. It is believed she ruptured a lung in her fall.
