Clarence B. Schneider, 69, of Route 1, Whitelaw, died Thursday morning, October 1, at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, where he had been a patient the past six months.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James Massart will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Schneider was born Nov. 11, 1911, in the Town of Cooperstown, son of the late Henry and Christine Petska Schneider. He married Agnes Kouba in 1935 and they resided in Rosecrans. He was employed as a grader operator for the Town of Cooperstown 30 years. The couple moved to their present home seven years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes, two sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence Jr. and Shirley of Maribel and James and Ellen of Route 1, Whitelaw; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Roger Artz of Island of Guam; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Reindl and Mrs. Gerald (Edna) Ullmer of Green Bay and four grandchildren. A brother, Alvin, preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home 4 pm. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the time of service. A prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday by Father Massart.
