Doris M. Schrimpf age 84 formerly of Francis Creek and currently a resident of Care Partners of Manitowoc, died Monday morning, September 9, 2013 at Care Partners.
Doris was born in Manitowoc County on July 29, 1929 daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Espen) Schrimpf. She was a graduate of Mishicot High School. Doris was employed at Badger Liquor Company and Rahr's of Manitowoc and then retired from Englewood Electric Co. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek.
Survivors include one sister-in-law: Ruth Schrimpf, Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews include: Mary (Jerry "Toby") Schermetzler, Manitowoc; Rick (Ruth) Kocian, Francis Creek; Jim (Judy) Kocian, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Theresa Schrimpf; one sister and brother-in-law: Florence (Matt) Kocian; three brothers: Rev. Raymond Schrimpf; Rev. Reginald Schrimpf; Reinhardt Schrimpf.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. The Rev. John Becker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
